T. (Ted) Erick Loken, Founder / CEO

 

Ted has served as the CEO of Trialogue Corporation since its inception in early 2004.  The author of numerous articles and a nationally recognized speaker on the subject, Ted understands the vision for marketing communications efficiency.  He has written extensively on the concept of Process-Based Marketing and originated the category designation, Automated Marketing Communications (AMC).  He has worked extensively to refine the concept of Automated Testing in a direct marketing environment.  He delivered a two hour workshop on Process-Based Marketing, Automated Marketing Communications and Automated Testing at the Annual DMA Conference in the fall of 2004.  

 

Ted has a 30-year history in the direct marketing business.  He worked as a consultant in the industry as the President of MarketLogic, Inc. since 1994.  Prior to that, he was the President of a mid-sized direct marketing agency in Minneapolis.  He served for 10 years from 1980 to 1990 as Exec VP and head of Carmichael Lynch Direct, an operating division of a large national agency.  Ted ran his own direct marketing agency in Minneapolis from 1972 until 1980, when he sold out to Carmichael Lynch.  

 

During this time Ted taught direct marketing for 7 years with the Minnesota State College System. He is a past board member of the MDMA.  He served for 6 years on the Direct Marketing Advisory Board for the AAAA’s in New York.  He has spoken frequently to the Direct Marketing Association, the Ad Fed, the 4A’s, and several local colleges and universities.  Ted

Gary A. Scott, Founder / President

 

Gary brings 22 years of experience and expertise best described as a unique blend of traditional consumer marketing, sales, brand and business development experience coupled with more “IT oriented” business drivers including; Customer Relationship Management (CRM), database/segmentation strategies, direct response, and e-commerce.

 

He has been instrumental in refining the Process-Based Marketing concept.  He functions as President of Trialogue, where his background with large corporate budgets, large staff responsibilities, and sophisticated management techniques serve the company well. 

 

Gary focused the first half of his career in branded consumer products, while in recent years his focus has been in branded consumer services ---- particularly, telecom, retail energy and financial services.  Prior to Founding Trialogue, Gary’s most recent position as a corporate officer of American Express and Vice President of Client Acquisition at American Express Financial Advisers (AEFA) focused on prospect development and client acquisition strategies encompassing direct response mail, internet and national alliances such as Microsoft, Costco, Delta Airlines and Barnes & Noble. Gary led a team of more than 60 professionals who drove and supported the effectiveness of AEFA’s direct sales force of 12,000 financial advisors.

 

Prior to American Express, Gary held the role of Vice President at The Cullinan Group, a management consultancy and marketing services agency.  Gary also held senior marketing roles at ConAgra, Rayovac, and The Pillsbury Company during the years of 1978 to 1995.  Gary

Jim Peyton, Vice President, Operations

Jim Peyton is a business service management executive experienced in building and managing business units that deliver CRM [customer relationship management] solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.  During 19 years with DynaMark Inc., Fair Isaac Company and WSI Internet Solutions, Jim’s responsibilities included strategic planning, business development, solution architecture and delivery, and client management.  Jim’s objective is to help his clients successfully achieve their business objectives with effective use of strategies, data and tools to optimize communications with their customers and prospects.

Scott McNamara, Chief Solution Engineer

Scott McNamara is an information management consultant experienced in building and supporting solutions that solve client needs in the technology arena. Scott has 17 years experience working for companies such as DynaMark Inc., Fair Isaac Company, Volkart May and McNamara Consulting Inc.  Scott’s responsibilities included database, operations, project and team management; systems analysis and design; application and product development; technical support; and computer operations. Scott’s objective is to help his clients successfully achieve their business objectives by leveraging data and tools to execute strategies that optimize performance of direct marketing communications with their customers and prospects.  Scott
